LGBTQ+ Resource Center
The 51动漫 LGBTQ+ Resource Center is located in the Cordell Reed Student Union Building
(SUB), room 203. Contact lgbtq@csu.edu for open hours and/or to learn about services
and activities. A is located in the SUB next to First Year Experience (room 180). There is also a gender
neutral restroom in the Cook Admin Building. Information about requesting an update
to chosen name or gender is .
Housing
51动漫 is ready to help students living on campus who do not identify on the gender binary or would like more individualized attention.
Library
The offers many types of resources (monographs, journal articles, streaming video, etc.),
which are helpful to those researching LGBTQ+ issues.
Radio
W51动漫 was established in 1994. The station hosts a weekly queer-focused radio show - Time to Talk! Tune in via
Safe Zones
Safe Zones provide students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to create safe spaces on campus
that are highly visible and easily identifiable to LGBTQ+ persons. 51动漫 has offered
Safe Zone training to educate our community since 2009.
Individuals who have received training and who have signed the Safe Zone agreement
display a Safe Zone symbol that demonstrates their respect and support of LGBTQ+ individuals
and their commitment to providing an affirming space where discrimination is not tolerated.
Safe Zone participants are always learning! Brush up on your vocabulary anytime with
this!
Student Organizations
51动漫 hosts numerous student organizations. LGBTQ+ students are welcome to join and participate a wide array of activities and/or
form and lead new groups.

Other Resource Centers
- The Abilities Office is here to assist students by making sure any barriers that exist caused by a disability
will be accommodated and ensure access to all of our programs and facilities.
- The Counseling Center provides assistance, support and information to students as well as consultation
and referral services.
- The Global Engagement Center (GEO) is the centralized unit on campus providing assistance and advising for members of
our global community.
- The Kwesi Ronald Harris African-American Male Resource (AAMRC) is a welcoming space where African-American men gather and grow academically, professionally,
culturally, and personally.
- The Latin@ Resource Center assists community members in achieving educational and professional goals by offering
extensive support services and living-learning-serving experiences.
- The Women鈥檚 Resource Center is designed to support success, in that its primary goal is to Engage, Embrace, Educate,
Enlighten, and Empower.
